Hello there! It’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Adriana, your go-to Real Estate Ally! I’m excited to tell you about myself and why I could be an excellent match for you. I provide personalized resources, connections, and strategies to support your buying, investing, listing, or selling needs. Allow me to share my journey quickly so that you get to know me better and why I am a good fit for you.

I remember my seven-year-old arriving in Miami, excited to reunite with my parents and siblings. After three years of separation from them, I was eager to socialize and engage with them and the new world around me. At school, I remember helping friends and being insightful of their personalities. It’s as though I was rehearsing for my future role as a negotiator. My drive and resilience might have been misunderstood then, but I was practicing who I have become. An entrepreneurial businesswoman driven by connections and resources who is always excited about the next adventure and negotiation.

After a few years in Miami, my parents and I returned to Colombia. As the businessman he was, my father immediately sought to acquire a business, and I remember being eager to get home from school to change out of my uniform to help him. It was an electronics store. With its buzz and energy, that place felt like an extension of my being. My father, noticing my keen interest and enthusiasm, generously offered me a small corner of the space so I could play business owner. There, I sold candy and trinkets from abroad. I felt happy, productive, and adventurous!

When I turned 18, I returned to the USA and stayed with my older siblings, who had made Southern California their home by now. I then signed up for college to improve my English skills. At the same time, home computers were coming out. I purchased a Tandy computer from Radio Shack to learn about the new technology and understand the need to prepare for the future. A couple of years later, I met my first husband at a family gathering; he was a jeweler from Colombia who specialized in watch repairs.

We became successful jewelry business owners, wholesalers, and gemstone dealers in the Los Angeles Jewelry District. I quickly used what I had learned at my parent’s jewelry store. I learned about jewelry manufacturing, wholesaling, gemology, and gemstone import/export. Through correspondence education, I also became a (GIA) Certified Gemologist with the Gemological Institute of America.

Sometimes, new beginnings are inedible: A divorce and dissolving what had been built was challenging but also ignited new beginnings, transforming pain into strength. I soon start anew by returning to college for a business administration and marketing degree. I also got a real estate license and started getting my feet wet in the real estate business as I continued to pursue personal development and gain personal empowerment tools.

I became a real estate agent because I enjoy helping people understand the buying process and ensuring that each step leads to future rewards when they purchase property. It also allows me to be an entrepreneur while continuing to do what I enjoy the most: pursuing education, personal development, socializing, and making money by helping others achieve their goals.

Woo-hoo!!! My new life partner is here. It is a blessing to have found that particular person who appreciates and embraces our uniqueness and encourages our wackiness; with him, I have continued my Realtor services.

During that time, real estate investing was added to the mix through embracing connections met at seminars, workshops, mentorship, investment club, reading, and successfully completing investment challenges.

In addition to learning about credit management, improvement, insurance, asset protection, and other finance education for personal benefit, I want to better serve buyers, sellers, and investors as a real estate professional and investor.

As life became more manageable, I felt the calling to pay it forward by giving back somehow, so I became proactive in my community, first as a volunteer and then as a leader: I would love to improve the world, but I can start with my backyard because even small contribution is help. We never know how much it may mean to someone else. That is why preparedness and becoming certified as a disaster relief person can be life-saving to a loved one or one of our neighbors in need. Doing everything we can around us is a step toward a better world tomorrow.

My business administration, marketing, and licensing accreditation demonstrates my strong business acumen.
I have become self-employed due to my drive, resilience, and positive attitude.
My enthusiasm for learning and gaining experience makes me a knowledgeable and well-prepared entrepreneur.
Being fluent in English and Spanish makes me bilingual and enables me to assist a broader range of people.
Engaging in community work has made me more compassionate and aware.
I am skilled at evaluating creditworthiness and protecting financial assets, which makes me knowledgeable about money matters. And the constantly changing environment since childhood has made me resilient, resourceful, and unstoppable.

In conclusion, I have continually reinvented myself and constantly learned new skills. Now, after 40+ years of business experience, overcoming ups and downs, and embracing tears of joy and pain, I can help you in your real estate and other business ventures. As an accomplished entrepreneur, I am always open to new ventures, partnerships, and collaborations. I will always be dedicated to offering professional and truthful services.

Preparing this short life story has been most insightful for me, as I hope it is for you. Thank you for indulging me with your attention and interest.

Adriana, The Real Estate Ally.
